Anyone can learn to knit or crochet! Books for beginners and experts

By Carolyn Davis, Senior Page, Central Library

Jonah Larsen is an 11 year old crochet wonder who lives in La Crosse, WI. When he was just five, he picked up a crochet hook, went to YouTube for a tutorial, and made a tea towel in an hour. The rest is history. His fingers are very quick and he doesn’t even look at his hands! He has his own business called Jonah’s Hands with 191,000 followers on Instagram. After an item went viral, it received over 2,500 orders! Jonah also donates items and money to the orphanage he came from in Ethiopia – the same orphanage from which he was adopted as a baby.
